Oden arrives before Orochi, but the shogun is saved from his attack thanks to the barrier created with the power of Bari Bari no Mi from one of his allies. The inhabitants of the capital begin to gather outside of the castle to celebrate the Oden's return, but to their surprise they are welcome with arrows. Sometime later, Oden leaves the castle dancing half naked and ridiculing himself in front of everyone. Every week, he would travel to the Flowers Capital to repeat this humiliation, earning the contempt of all citizens. After a year, Oden receives excited the news of Roger's death, the Great Age of Piracy had begun and with it the search for the One Piece.
