The battle between the Roger Pirates and the Shirohige Pirates lasts for three days, until it's finally resolved with an exchange of gifts. Roger shares with Newgate and Oden his discovery about the last island of the Grand Line and his relationship with the Poneglyph. But for that last trip, Roger begs Oden to accompany his crew for a year. Oden, Toki and their children embark with Roger, while his vassals await them with Newgate, although Nekomamushi and Inuarashi hide in the ship one again. Their journey takes them to Jaya, where Oden goes out in search of ingredients to prepare an oden for everyone.
