Clover visited Vegapunk at Punk Hazard to ask for help in his investigation, although Vegapunk refused. Clover confesses that he carries the “D” in his name, but he hides it because his brother was killed for it. Years later, news of the Ohara incident reaches Punk Hazard and Vegapunk travels to Ohara to pay his respects. Back in the present, Vegapunk's message speaks of history being written by the winners, but the truth may be unveiled. Atlas arrives at the Thousand Sunny and knocks Lilith unconscious with one punch. York confirms that Lilith is down, as Atlas jumps to confront Nusjuro. Atlas loses an arm in the exchange as the Thousand Sunny manages to take off. On the shore, Emeth recognizes Luffy as Joy Boy. The robot confronts the Gorousei and also loses an arm trying to restrain Ju Peter, but Saturn manages to break through and reaches the giants' ship. Finally, Atlas self-destructs in an attempt to finish off Nusjuro. York celebrates the fall of the last Vegapunk while Emeth remembers again what Joy Boy entrusted him.
