On the Pirate Island of Hachinosu, Perona was the one who released Koby from hi cell on the condition that he helps to free Moria. All the pirates are looking for the fugitive Koby and discussing the five-star bounty on his head. While on the run, Koby had freed slaves on the island who were to be sold. Teach's intention with Koby's capture was to bring the island affiliated with the World Government, but as a member of Sword, Koby operates outside the Marine and they will not negotiate for his liberation. Koby hears explosions and learns that other Sword members are attacking the island. Among them is the legendary hero of the Marine, the Vice Admiral Garp.
