Ivankov and Ginny's plan is to get their hands on the competition prizes in order to escape, as some of them consist of powerful Akuma no Mi. In addition, Ginny has leaked the information of these prizes, so the Rock Pirates and Roger Pirates arrive at God Valley causing chaos. Kuma and Ivankov manage to get their hands on an Akuma no Mi each, but they are assaulted by Big Mom and lose one of them, however, Kuma manages to eat his in time. Kuma is neutralized by Saturn, but does not give up, he tells him that he will use this new power to save as many people as he can, just like Nika. Some time later, Kuma, Ivankov and Ginny take refuge in the Sorbet Kingdom. Ivankov claims that Kuma's new power is the "hands of liberation". Ivankov decides to leave and enjoy his newfound freedom, while Kuma and Ginny stay to carve out a new life for themselves. After enjoying a hard-earned meal, they both cry because they are finally happy.
