After discovering that both the Marines and Luffy's group have escaped from Shinokuni entering in the laboratory, Caesar realizes that their next goal must be the section R-66. His new plan is to isolate them all at section A, for it he ordered the immediate closure of the corridor connecting sections A and B. The G-5 tries then to face Zoro's group, but Tashigi convinces them that this is not the best time to capture the pirates, they should quickly move to the next room. To everyone's surprise, Caesar has ordered bombing the outer wall and the poisonous gas has begun to enter the laboratory. Some members of the G-5 then decide to sacrifice themselves so their captain can escape.
