In the connecting corridor between sections A and B, Chahige and the Straw Hat crew advance as the Marines are being attacked by the Dragon, which is no longer under the sedative influence. However, the Dragon suddenly flees after noticing the arrival of Vergo. The Marines received with joy the arrival of his superior without knowing that he's actually a traitor. Vergo starts eliminating them by surprise, but suddenly, Vergo is beaten by Sanji, who has come to the rescue after noticing that Tashigi was in trouble. Meanwhile, Luffy and Smoker cross the section B to Caesar's whereabouts. Upon entering the laboratory, Luffy attacks Caesar with a powerful punch in his stomach.
