In front of the laboratory entrance, begins a three-way fight between the Marines, Caesar's henchmen and the group formed by Luffy, Franky and Robin. However, the fight is soon interrupted by a strange substance that begins to fall from the sky. This substance seems to be alive, release a powerful poison gas and is highly flammable. In the central lake, Zoro, Sanji and Brook observed how Caesar's pet is spitting something into the sky. Apparently, it is slowly moving from one side of the lake to the other and these creatures are small replicas of himself. Back at the lab entrance, without Law's intervention being necessary, Caesar makes an appearance in front of everyone to warn them about Smiley's arrival, just when Luffy takes advantage to jump over him.
