While they face Monster, Law and Luffy fall under the control of Breed's ability. Once at the cell where Caesar is held captive, Breed takes Chopper as his mascot and reveals all his plans. Breed is in possession of a Smile, with Caesar's help he seeks to produce new artificial Akuma no Mi to turn all humans into animals so he can take control of them. Breed then forces Law and Luffy to fight each other for his enjoyment. The Kung-Fu Dugong fascinated by Luffy tries to stop the fight, but the control that Breed exercises over him causes him forces the Kung-Fu Dugong to fight them both again. Law and Luffy are then throw through a window and fall defeated into the sea.
