Kinemon decides to face the Mountain God to save his childhood friend, but he is not strong enough. Oden uses the little boar as bait to attract the creature and manages to cut it in half with a single attack, thus freeing all the people who were eaten. After saving the capital, Oden receives the letter that disowns him, but at the same time Kinemon and Denjirou become his first followers. After being expelled from the capital, they go to Hakumai, where Yasuie introduces him to his new servant, the young Orochi. Following the rumors about Ashura Douji, Oden decides to leave Hakumai towards Kuri, gathered new followers on his way.
