Kaidou watches as Luffy falls into the sea while commenting that despite how much he has improved he will not be able to be Joy Boy. Just then, Kaidou receives a call from Bao Huang informing him that they already have Momonosuke located. As Yakato distracts the enemies, Momonosuke discovers reading his father's diary how important his life is, but suddenly he begins to hear voices in his head. On the Live Floor, Chopper continues fighting Queen thanks to the improvement of the Rumble Balls that he achieved with Caesar. At that moment Bao Huang broadcasts to the whole island warning about the defeat of Straw Hat Luffy. Kanjuurou reaches Momonosuke's hideout, where Kinemon and Kiku try to calm the boy down. Kiku confronts Kanjuurou, but Oden's disguise causes him to be unable to attack and ends up being pierced by Kanjuurou's sword. Kinemon manges to defeat Kanjuurou, but after that the ceiling collapses and Kaidou appears to kill Momonosuke.
