Lucci tries to persuade the Vegapunk clones so they let them enter Eggland. He alludes that recently several government ships have mysteriously disappeared in the area. Meanwhile, Vegapunk explains to Luffy's group his interest in providing free energy to everyone, though Luffy is not interested in any of that. CP-0 decides to enter the island without permission, abandoning their ship that ends up being destroyed by the sea beasts. Shaka decides to deploy the Seraphim under Sentoumaru's command, but Atlas decides to go and confront the CP-0. Vegapunk warns Luffy that the island is going to become a battlefield and suddenly disappears. Lucci manages to defeat Atlas in a single attack when Luffy and the other just return to the city.
