Morgans is excited about all the material he has to publish in his newspaper. There's the Teach vs. Law, the Shanks vs. Kid and Vegapunk's kidnapping and subsequent murder by Luffy. Kizaru, as the last Marine standing left, approaches a Den Den Mushi to report the situation at Egghead. Sakazuki reproaches him that he has done a poor job, but Kizaru annoyingly replies that he had to kill his best friend and that if there's any doubts about his abilities he can go and see what happened for himself. On the Kyohei Pirates' ship, Lilith regains consciousness and is informed about everything. Lilith behaves strangely, perhaps because she's no longer connected to the rest of “Vegapunk”, as soon she cries as she says she's hungry. Despite the death of her other parts, Lilith tells the crew that they kept their promise, as they are still alive according to her concept of “death”. These words lift the spirits on the ship a bit and everyone joins in the celebration. Meanwhile, a mysterious person awaits them on the shore of Elbaf.
