We briefly recall the events after the Ohara incident and how Robin was persecuted. Robin came to contemplate suicide, but the memory of Olvia and Saul's words made her move on. Back in the present, the Straw Hat crew is welcomed by the people of Elbaph. Hajrudin formally introduces his crew to Luffy and the others. He algo comments on how the news of Luffy's rise and Big Mom's defeat reached them. Gerd tells Robin that Saul is waiting for her in the library, so the Straw Hat crew decides to go visit him before enjoying the banquet. When they arrive, one of the giants warns them that Saul has fainted. Robin decides to approach alone and the same scene from when the two first met is replayed. Saul comments on Robin's resemblance to her mother, as well as how he managed to survive when the flames melted the ice and he fell into the sea. Robin interrupts him saying that she doesn't want to talk about sad things, while asking for praise after surviving all this time. The two then embrace each other and cry, causing the rest of the crew to burst into tears as well.

In the village, Rippley and the other parents try to stop Zaza’s MMA from taking the children away. Meanwhile, Usopp and Nami ask Brook about his relationship with Gunko. Brook remarks that it’s as if there are three personalities within her: the one who attacked them, the devil, and the one who freed them. Brook begins to reminisce about his past, 70 years ago in the Esperia Kingdom, where he was the leader of the battle escort at the service of the royal family, and where a young princess named Shuri used to sing with him. The Great Eirik finally arrives at the port of Elbaph. A boy named Collon comes out to greet them and asks if they will stop by the bar, but Brogy makes a signal telling him that they will not. Thanks to the "Painter", Brogy creates a rainbow with which the ship will be able to ascend to the upper level. Hajrudin sees the rainbow from his boat and takes the opportunity to join them. Meanwhile, Luffy leaves the Underworld and neutralizes Gerd and Goldberg on the big bridge after discovering that they are carrying the Thousand Sunny. On the other side of the bridge, Road tries to capture Nami, but falls into a trap set by the crew and is now trapped under a log. Then, Gerd and Goldberg arrive, who do not hesitate to finish off their companion. Gerd shows the crew a way through the clouds that will lead them to the village. Back on the giants' ship, Brogy explains that Elbaph has three levels and that at the top of the tree is their village. Both groups arrive simultaneously at the village and are amazed by how huge it is.

Luffy is glad to find out that he is in Elbaph, while Loki asks him to be unchained with the promise to get rid of the pirate crew he wishes. Loki tells him that they are in the Underworld, a place where criminals are left to their punishment. Suddenly, some giant animals arrive at the place accompanied by a group of masked humans who seem to serve Loki. Luffy manages to tame the creatures while the humans comment about having been knocked unconscious by Shanks in the past. Luffy asks if Shanks was there in the past and Loki says he's a coward, which causes Luffy to get angry and try to punch Loki. Loki replies that he was joking, but if he released he will tell him all about Shanks. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew watches Road running out of the castle while being chased by other giants who arrived earlier. Elsewhere in the Underworld, Hajrudin and Stansen have captured a giant moose. Finally, the giants' ship is already in the waters of Elbaph, Robin has received a new haircut so that Saul can recognize her when they meet again.

After taking the last attack, Imu calls Nidhöggr a traitor. He then turns to Ragnir, saying that his power works in perfect synergy with Loki’s. Ragnir blinds Imu with a cloud of cold while Loki fires a barrage of lightning from his breath, to which Imu responds with a rain of explosions. Nearby, Sanji lies on the ground after Killingham was empowered with black flames. Quickly, Sanji flies off in his pursuit to prevent the children from being kidnapped again. In the Owl Library, Saul and Robin find an underground room where Biblo has moved all the books. At the western town’s port, Sommers prepares a new ship to carry out the plan. The wounded and the children take shelter in the town’s tavern, while Zoro and Goldberg race toward the port. However, Killingham uses his own fears to create the MMA of the Rain God, Zaza. The creature floods the town and takes the children.

From the other side of the bridge Gerd and Goldberg arrive, another two members of the New Kyohei Pirates, who are commenting that Road usually hijacks intruders ships. After their pass the group prepares to cross the bridge, but Luffy senses something from the forest below and decides to jump down. Back at the ship, everyone reacts to Dorry and Brogy's new bounties. The news also talk about Vegapunk's death and Robin notices a strange mark on Luffy's arm in one of the photos. The giants comment that Hajrudin wanted to accompany them, but someone had to stay behind to watch out for a certain problem. In the past, Loki killed his father, the King Harald, to get his Akuma no Mi. Now the entire town of Elbaph is helping to keep Loki in custody. Precisely, deep in the forest, Luffy meets a giant chained to a tree who claims to be Loki, the "Sun God".

The Sun God's staff takes the form of a huge net with which he tries to trap the crew, but they manage to cut it off and keep running away. The group reaches the mirror at the opposite end and Usopp uses his Midori Boshi to create a huge explosion to destroy it. However, the wall behind the mirror is left completely intact. Luffy prepares to break the wall while in a brief flashback the identity of the Sun God is revealed. He is the navigator of the New Kyohei Pirates, who was unhappy with Hajrudin's decision to become part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Back in the present, Nami electrocutes the Sun God with the help of Zeus while Luffy destroys the wall creating an exit.
